The Wilckens primer in matt white is a low-odor synthetic resin primer. It is well suited as a covering and filling base and intermediate coat with a good Flow. It dries very quickly and is suitable for inside and outside. The primer is characterized by easy processing and good sandability. It is particularly suitable for base and intermediate coats on wood and metal (e.g. doors, windows, furniture, grilles, etc.) indoors and outdoors.
Processing instructions: The surface must be clean, dry, free of grease and stable. Loose parts of the paint and unstable substrates must be removed, well-adhering old paints must be sanded thoroughly (wear a dust mask), and metal surfaces must be thoroughly removed from rust. Stir well before use and apply evenly. Do not use at temperatures below +8°C or in high heat (sunlight). When processing several containers, ensure that the batches are identical.
1. Paint structure on wood, inside and outside
a) Prepare the substrate accordingly
b) impregnate raw wood outside with wood primer (blue stain protection)
c ) 1 coat of primer
d) 1 - 2 thin coats of colored or white paint
2. Paint structure on metal (iron)
a) Prepare the surface accordingly Â
b) Degrease light metal and zinc, remove oxidation deposits and pre-treat with Allgrund Â
c) Prime the iron with rust primer or Allgrund
d) if necessary, 1 coat of primer Â
e) 1-2 thin coats of colored, white or radiator paint Â
3. Paint build-up on old paints or renovation paint
a) Prepare the substrate accordingly Â
b) Sand old paints thoroughly (wear a dust mask), apply wood primer or rust protection primer or Allgrund to damaged areas prime Â
c) if necessary 1 coat of primer Â
d) 1 - 2 thin coats of colored, white or radiator paint Â
General information: Store in a cool, but frost-free place. Only empty containers for recycling. Dispose of liquid material residues at the collection point for used paint. Please secure the container against tipping over and leaking during transport. Please refer to the safety data sheet for information on hazards and safety precautions. Please contact your dealer.
When painting depending on the surface, the drying time is (at +20°C, 65% relative humidity):
Prolong lower temperatures and higher humidity the drying times.Â
Consumption:
approx. 10 - 12 m²/liter | Sufficient for approx. 25 - 30 m²

Flammable liquid and vapor. Contains sensitizing substances. Can cause allergic reactions. Always read the label and product information before use.
