The 2 in 1 White Lacquer by Wilckens in silk mat or glossy is a water-dilutable dispersion paint that is easy to work with and has a very good flow. This varnish is bifunctional due to hybrid technology and allows you to apply primer and top coat in one step. It is particularly suitable for dimensionally stable wooden components, children's toys, but also for primed hard-PVC, iron and other metals, indoors and outdoors. The Wilckens White Lacquer is low odor, low in pollutants and solvents, light and weather resistant. Thanks to highest quality standards, it complies with DIN EN 71.3 and is suitable for children's toys, because it is resistant to saliva and perspiration and awarded with The Blue Angel. Quick drying in 2 to 4 hours.
Processing advise: Please read the product labeling carefully before you use this product and follow the dangers and safety instructions. The substrate must be clean, dry, free of grease and rust, as well as sustainable. Loose coating parts and not sustainable old paint parts are to be removed with paint stripper. Adhesive old coats must be sanded down well (wear a dust mask). Stir well before use. In most cases, white lacquer 2in1 can be used without primer.
Exeptions
On wood:
a) For wood with water-soluble, colouring ingredients, always use wood insulating primer, coat knots 2 times. Pre-treat raw wood outside with wood primer (blue stain protection).
b) Intermediate and final coat with white lacquer 2in1 undiluted
On ferrous metals:
a) If higher corrosion protection is required outside, prime 1 x with 2in1 anti-rust primer.
b) Intermediate and final coat with white lacquer 2in1 undiluted
On zinc/aluminium:
a) Remove the patina and prime with Allgrund 3in1.
b) Intermediate and final coat with white lacquer 2in1 undiluted
On hard PVC:
a) Sand (wear dust mask) and prime with Allgrund 3in1.
b) Intermediate and final coat with white lacquer 2in1 undiluted
Danger/Caution: Store in a cool, but frost-free place - do not use at temperatures below + 8 °C, do not use at high temperatures (sunlight) - keep out of the reach of children - medical advice is required, have packaging or identification label ready - do not inhale spray and mist - use combination filter A2/P2 for spraying work, use dust filter P2 for grinding work - eat, Avoid drinking and smoking while using the paint - ensure sufficient ventilation during and after application and drying - rinse thoroughly with water immediately in case of contact with eyes or skin - do not allow to enter the sewerage system, water or soil - only give empty containers for recycling, return liquid material residues to the collection point for old paints - the usual protective measures must also be observed when processing low-pollutant paints
The drying time depends on the substrate (at 20°C, 65% rel. humidity):
Lower temperatures and higher humidity increase the drying time!
