Wilckens radiator paint is suitable for hot water radiators and pipes. It is an excellent white paint based purely on synthetic resin and is impact and shock resistant due to its high quality. As an ideal paint for radiators, Wilckens radiator paint is naturally resistant to yellowing and heat-resistant up to +80 °C. Thanks to its good flow, high opacity and quick-drying properties, this paint is easy to apply.Â
Application instructions: Stir well and apply evenly. Ready to use, for painting. Turpentine substitute is suitable as a thinner, the substrate must be clean, sand old coats well (wear a dust mask), remove all loose, unsound paint residue. Recommended tools: brushes with natural bristles, flat brushes. Clean tools immediately after use with turpentine substitute, universal thinner or brush cleaner.
Coating structure:
1. prepare the substrate accordingly.Â
2. prime metal with rust protection primer or rust protection metal primer.
3. 1 coat of undercoat or undercoat colour.
4. 1-2 top coats with synthetic resin radiator paint.
Drying: (at 20°C/ 65% relative humidity): Dust-dry after approx. 2 hours. Touch dry after approx. 8 hours. Can be recoated after approx. 24 hours.
