Wilckens' tile varnish is the perfect support for your renovation work. Each bucket contains 750 milliliters of white coloured tiles lacquer. Due to its excellent material characteristics, the varnish is perfectly suited for grounding tiles in kitchen, sanitary or living area. Furthermore, it provides a hygienic coating and is resistant to moisture.
Usage: The surface has to be clean, dry, free from grease and lime residues as well as silicone and mold. Silicone joints must be removed and renewed after painting. Before coating, the surface has to be roughened with sandpaper. Process the product according to manufacturer's operation instructions. This product should be stored in a safe place and out of the reach of children. Take all necessary safety-related measures to ensure a safe use.
Note: Do not use sanitary silicone for joints after painting. Sanitary silicone contains ammonia to combat mould and mildew. The ammonia contained dissolves the paint film and changes the colour tone. Only ammonia-free silicone should be used on painted surfaces (if silicone is already present). An acrylic sealant can also be used. Remove silicone joints and renew the joints with a suitable ammonia-free sealant. However, the discoloration in the paint film can no longer be eliminated.
Care tip:
We recommend neutral household cleaners for the cleaning and care of painted surfaces (do not use scouring sponges, scouring milk, etc.).
