Herbol's Rekordspachtel ready-to-use filler is a ready-to-use filler for interior walls and ceilings. It can be used for smoothing concrete, aerated concrete, plasterboard and other similar surfaces and levels out old plastic dispersion coatings. The record filler can be diluted with water and is free from solvents and plasticisers.
The substrate must be solid, clean, load-bearing, dry and free of efflorescence, fungal infestation, layers of powdery grain, sintered layers and separating agents. In the case of soiling such as soot or chalking components, the substrate must be cleaned beforehand. If present, repair major substrate damage with a suitable filler. Prime the substrate if necessary. The record filler can then be applied in a thin layer with a stainless steel trowel and smoothed. Depending on the condition of the substrate, several coats may be necessary. Once dry, the filler can be painted over. The surface should be primed before wallpapering.
