Whether as a care treatment or as a refresher, Dr. Schutz Wood & Cork Floor Polish gives every hardwood floors treated with a water-resistant stain-finish lacquer a new shine. The metal-free and wax-containing polymer dispersion is also a protectant against scratches. Even old and dull wood and cork floors come back to life with the help of Dr. Schutz Wood & Cork Floor Polish and are prefectly protected thanks to a silky protective layer that is left behind after application. Can also be used for PVC or linoleum flooring.

Before applying the care treatment the floor should be cleaned thoroughly. If the the floor is damaged severely, it needs to be restored before applying the treatment.

Application of Dr. Schutz Wood & Cork Floor Polish:

Clean and dry the floor thoroughly. Shake the product well before use and apply the solution undiluted in a thin and even layer onto the floor using the Polish Applicator System or a non-felting, wide-headed wiper mop in the direction of installation. Once the protective film has dried down enough to walk on, another layer may be applied to increase protetcion. The product is self-drying and does not need to be polished after drying. The flooring needs to dry for at least 12 hours before using it again. The protection of wood and cork floors is maintained if Wood & Cork Floor Polish is applied regularly after a thorough cleaning.

The cycle is dependent on the usage of the flooring:

Floors subjected to low levels of wear and tear (e.g., in living rooms and bedrooms, offices not open to the public) once or twice per year.
Floors subjected to medium-to-high levels of wear and tear (e.g., in corridors, on staircases, in offices open to the public) approximately every 3 to 6 months as required, in areas subjected to extreme wear and tear even more frequently.
Floors subjected to extreme wear and tear (e.g., in restaurants and pubs, shops, department stores, schools and for dance floors) every 4 to 8 weeks, in areas subjected to even more extreme wear and tear even more frequently.

Note:

Avoid applying in direct sunlight and draught. Also, turn off the underfloor heating before using.
The floor, as well as product temperature, may not fall below +15°C during application or drying time.
If diluted at a 1:100 ratio it may also be used for regular cleaning purposes.
The extreme build-up of caring products is to be avoided.
Polishing with a high-speed-mashine is possible after drying.
The tools used to apply the solution should be cleaned thoroughly with water.
