Painting allows for an individual wall design in the color of your choice. With the edition No1 wall paints, you can paint woodchip wallpaper, non-woven wallpaper, paper wallpaper and vinyl wallpaper. In addition, the paint can be applied to plaster, concrete and plasterboard provided they have been primed, as well as plastic plaster. Thanks to the high opacity, old dispersion-based paints can also be painted over. Let yourself be inspired by the various shades with dreamlike names and design your living spaces according to your ideas with the premium dispersion. All colors have an extra matt finish and give your interior a classy look Suitable for indoor use. The paint can be applied by roller, brush or spray. Paint normally to heavily soiled as well as colored surfaces with just one coat. For smooth surfaces, apply with a quality short-pile or medium-pile roller to achieve a smooth and even finish. Use a long pile roller on textured surfaces to achieve a comfortable finish and to ensure all indentations in the texture are filled. We also recommend moistening the paint roller slightly with water to ensure good paint pick-up and paint transfer. When using a paint sprayer, the wall paint must be diluted with water to spray viscosity. edition No1 paint is ready to use and only needs to be stirred well before use. The wall paint is surface dry after approx. 2-4 hours and can be painted over after approx. 6 hours. (The drying times vary depending on the nature of the subsurface, humidity and application thickness.)

Subsurface preparation:

For the best possible coating finish and secure adhesion, the surface to be painted should be clean, dry, free of dust and grease, firm and stable.

Highly absorbent substrates (usually untreated plaster and concrete surfaces, masonry or plasterboard) should be pre-treated with deep primer. You can recognize absorbent surfaces by the fact that they turn dark when dabbed with a damp sponge or cloth.
Fill out cracks, holes or other defects with a suitable filler
Old paint coats that are peeling and chalking, distempers -Paints and non-adherent wallpaper should be removed without leaving any residue and washed thoroughly with clear water, then treat with deep primer
stubborn stains (e.g. caused by water, grease, nicotine, soot, etc.) with a special isolating and blocking primer paint over it, this prevents these stains from showing through afterwards
if there is superficial mold growth on walls and ceilings, first brush off the mold and then treat it with a mold remover (use biocides carefully. Always read the label and product information before use).
