The mould-resistant protective paint offers reliable protection against fungal infestation for interior wall and ceiling surfaces. The emulsion paint from Baufan is particularly recommended for kitchens, bathrooms and other damp rooms, but can also be used in bedrooms and living rooms to protect against mould infestation. Beforehand, coarse soiling should be removed from the affected surfaces by cleaning them with mould remover. The base coat can be painted over after approx. 6 - 8 hours, which can be diluted with up to 10% water. Once completely dry, the top coat can be applied undiluted. If required, the anti-mould paint can be tinted with solid colours and guarantees long-term protection against mould on a wide variety of wall and ceiling surfaces, including wallpaper.
All substrates must be clean, dry, sound, absorbent and free of release agents. Please use deep penetrating primer to increase strength. Substrates that cannot be consolidated or do not adhere sufficiently must be completely removed. If in doubt, apply a test coat. Surfaces already infested with mould must be cleaned with mould remover before the first coat is applied.
Application:
Stir the anti-mould paint well and dilute up to 10% with water as a primer if necessary. This can be painted over after approx. 6 - 8 hours; the top coat should be applied undiluted after the base coat has dried completely.
The paint can be applied with a roller, brush, paintbrush, flat brush or spraying equipment. We recommend using dispersion solid colours for tinting.
Clean tools with clear water immediately after use.
