The uncomplicated and easy installation of the approx. 50x50 cm large, dimensionally stable and extremely hard-wearing "Medusa" carpet tile from Associated Weavers enables flexible application possibilities in commercial areas with heavy use such as hotels, sales rooms, restaurants or offices.
The carpet tiles are colourfast and protected against UV radiation and ageing yellowing thanks to their wear layer of iMax® fibres - unique Solution Dyed Nylon fibres. According to the German Allergy and Asthma Association, the Solution Dyed Nylon fibres make carpet tiles such as "Medusa" suitable for poeple suffering from allergies, as the risk of exposure to fine dust is considerably reduced. Furthermore, they are resistant to chlorinated and disinfectant cleaning agents, retain their colour intensity, are stain-resistant and also easy to clean. iMax® stands for guaranteed durability. This makes it the ideal yarn for contract areas with extreme wear and tear. Further advantages are the impact sound insulating effect and the applicability in rooms with underfloor heating. Furthermore, they are flame retardant and suitable for stairs and chair castors.
The carpet tiles are mottled and available in various colours. Thanks to their size, laying the tiles is easy and uncomplicated. The carpet tiles do not have to be glued to the floor because they are self-lying. This has the advantage that the tiles can be replaced at any time and do not leave any annoying residues on the floor.
